Julian Rachlin and Friends is a chamber music festival traditionally held in Dubrovnik at the beginning of September. The founder and spiritus movens of the festival is the Austrian violinist and violist Julian Rachlin who has been gathering his friends such as pianist Itamar Golan, cellist Mischa Maisky, violinist Janine Jansen, violinist, violist and conductor Maxim Vengerov and many other well-known musicians, to play together in the atrium of the Rector's Palace.
